From time of birth, I was there,
“and another”, I did declare

Some in sacs, some were not,
Eager to see, what we had got

Head first or breached, you all popped out,
And wondered what, this World’s about

Grey boys and girls, some black and tan,
So exciting, for me and Jan

I slept by you, the first two weeks,
Listening to, your little squeaks

For two whole months, we’ve watched you grow,
But sadly now, it’s time to go

We’ve fed you, cleaned you, played and kissed,
In return, you’ve never missed

To fill our lives, with so much joy,
Each and every, girl and boy

We wish you well, as you all grow,
Some large, some small, who’s to know

Show dogs or pets, you may become,
But cared for, loved by, new Dad and Mum

This is what, makes it worthwhile,
To see your faces, bring a smile

Good luck, God bless, in your new den,
