Here are a few links to some of my favourite web sites. Most of them are, naturally, K9 related, but there are one or two which do not have 100% dog content, but you may find of interest anyway.

GANGKAR KENNELS - Martina Hudcovicova is in the Slovak Republic, and would love to hear from you. I have been in communication by e-mail with Martina for quite a while, and finally had the pleasure of meeting up with her in person at the Dutch TMC speciality in September 2000. In November 2004, I drove to Germany to meet up with Martina and "Dzong", who was mated with "Chila". Chila had a successful litter of 4 pups born 6th January 2005.

BRITISH GARDEN BIRDS - OK, so it's about feathers, not fur, but I found this site whilst browsing, and apart from my interest in birds, the quality of the site impressed me so much, I asked the author to design my original site in 2000. Please pay a visit, you will be impressed, I was.

DOG WORLD BREED NOTES - online breed notes for Tibetan Mastiffs. Please note, these are the unedited version as originally written-the actual breed notes appearing in the press may have been edited slightly.

DOG WORLD NEWSPAPER - the weekly K9 paper from the UK.

MAFF website - info on importing dogs into the UK, under the new regulations.

CRUFTS - The most prestigious dog show in the World, from the UK.

KC - The Kennel Club in the UK. A very useful feature here is the "download forms" page, where you can download and print off various kennel club registration forms.

MANWANTARAS DO-KHYI Ingrid Brill-Walsh's excellent site based in Germany, with many pictures of Tibetan Mastiffs from all over the World. You can also purchase some interesting TM material here, including car stickers and TM calendars. Well worth a visit.

GARUDA'S KENNEL, ITALY - This is the site of Francesco, in Italy , and the Garuda's Tibetan Mastiffs. Francesco had flown to England to attend Crufts, which was cancelled, so came up to Yorkshire to visit Sobarnaland. You can also see his puppies here.

Welcome to Dog Friendly, a new web site for dog lovers and people who love our dogs.

Our aim is to let dog lovers know where they can take their dogs whether inside or outside for everyone's mutual enjoyment. We aim to encourage pub landlords and proprietors of other similar establishments to welcome dog lovers either into their premises or a designated area of their premises. In our experience a couple with a dog turned away could cost on average £15 - £20 in lost earnings through not allowing dogs in. We have lost count of the number of empty pubs we've walked into for a holiday lunch only to be turned away. More fool them.

What of the hygiene argument? I think someone smoking in a food area is far less pleasant and a greater risk to health, don't you?
